Owner & Dog Whisperer
After working in the financial industry for several years, Alexandra decided to change her career path, and create a company that would enable her to follow her passion, providing love and care for animals. She created Really Love Dogs, Inc. In 2012, with the mission to help NYC pet owners care for their animals, by providing them with guidance and lots of love.
Alexandra graduated Brooklyn College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. She completed a Certification in Pet Product Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Alexandra was mentored by a top dog trainer, giving her the skills and knowledge to address behavioral issues with dogs. She is currently enrolled in Penn Foster College and on the path to receive her Veterinary Technician License.
Alexandra believes that the key to a happy balanced dog is a mix of sufficient exercise, positive reinforcement, assertive leadership and calm energy. She is a lover of all animals, practices a vegan diet, and is a believer in holistic care and alternative medicine for both animals and people. She is a supporter of animal rescues, and always encourages others to adopt. She loves all dogs, but has an affinity for Chihuahuas. Her first Chihuahuas were Dexter and Charlie who both passed in 2018, at the age of 17 and 16. In 2019 she Adopted another little Chihuahua, Little Jerry, to continue their legacy.
